K2 Stone

The K2 granite is named after the K2 peak of the Karakoram Mountains, which is close to the border between China and Pakistan. K2 granite was found in the collapse of the foot of the mountain, so it is called "K2 blue" or K2 granite, or K2 for short. The main component of K2 granite is a white granite, which is composed of azurite, mica, quartz, feldspar, and malachite. Blue is azurite, black is mica, and green is generally malachite. It is not uncommon for granite to be produced all over the world, but azurite ore is rare in K2 granite, which is very rare. 

Origin 

K2, the second highest peak in the world, is the only source of K2 granite.
