The name and legend of kyanite 

The name of kyanite is derived from the Greek word "kuanos" or "kyanos", which means "dark blue", alluding to its typical blue. Because this color is similar to the sea, the ancient Greeks used kyanite as a protective stone against floods. According to Greek legend, Poseidon and Neptune, the gods of the sea, came to earth in person by summoning kyanite to help people calm the sea and rivers.  

The colors and origin of kyanite 

The most common colors of kyanite are indigo, green and black. It can also be white, gray, yellow, etc. Kyanite deposits are found all over the world. Some of the most important sources include Austria, Myanmar, Brazil, etc. Orange kyanite was recently discovered in Tanzania. Nepal is now widely regarded as one of the best sources of kyanite.  

The uses and meanings of kyanite  

Kyanite is one of the few gems on the earth, because it does not contain any form of negative energy, so it does not need to be cleaned.  

Kyanite is the protective stone of the sound. Its energy allows the wearer to relax nerves, speak clearly and confidently, and gain more concentration. People who have to talk frequently due to work, such as teachers, salesmen, etc., can use kyanite as a protective stone for vocalization.
