Yin and Yang is a simple and broad ancient Chinese philosophy. It is one of the main concepts shared by different schools in the history of Chinese philosophy. In Eastern thought, two complementary forces make up all aspects and phenomena of life. Yin and Yang, these two basic concepts symbolize the initial stages of life creation, the relationship between men and women, and beliefs related to religion. In Chinese cosmology, these two entities are the origin of all things.

The principle of yin and yang is that all things exist in indivisible contradictory opposites. This principle can be traced back to the 3rd century BC or even earlier and is a fundamental concept in Chinese philosophy, Chinese medicine and culture. In Chinese, the word yin represents cloudy and cold weather. The yang character represents warm and sunny weather. Yin represents negativity and feminine power, and it is associated with the moon. Yang represents solar energy, the positive and masculine force, and it is related to the sun.

Achieving a balance of yin and yang helps to live harmoniously and feel happy. Understanding how yin and yang energies change helps us better examine reality. By changing the yin-yang relationship, you can channel energy or create a new balance.

Taijitu, also known as yin and yang symbols or Taoist symbols, is a Chinese symbol associated with Taoism. Tai Chi diagrams are represented by symbols in two colors, black and white.
